WZDE <br />DRIVEWAY FOR ENTRANCE TO THE PROPOSED NEW <br />WAREHOUSE ADDITION AT 2202 - 36TH STREET. <br />EXPLANAT�ON <br />Mr. T. Clyde Pitcher, Jr., o£ Claric Distributing Company, Inc <br />2202 - 36th Street, has submitted a proposal to construct a <br />new addition to their warehouse. The plans include a 95- <br />foot driveway off McDougal Avenue. In accordance with the <br />City Code Chapter 13.36., Section 13.36.110, driveways <br />exceeding 35 feet requir.e a variance approved by the City <br />Council. <br />The vari nce is requested because of the security require- <br />menis peculiar to this type of distributinq plant, and un3er <br />the present usage, t.he street would not be impaired. A <br />variance is also required to eliminate the installation of <br />curb and gutte= at the site. .1r. Pitcher's letter is attached. <br />The proposed application has been reviewed by the City <br />departments and no objections or adverse conditions were <br />presented. <br />RECOMMENDATIONS <br />The Engineering Department recommends approval of the appli- <br />eatiarr-svb7ez-t-t-0--tl�c�-gsa�-�q-of-th� var;ance. <br />nttachment <br />FO:my 2-6 <br />
