At thah point, �iscussians were i <br />held between representatives of the Port, the Ci;y, Snohomish County and I.A.C., <br />directed toward consummating an agreement betwzen all parties for expansion of <br />the First pnase work progrom Eor full utilization oF the committed funcs, hopefully I <br />to the point of achieving some limited boat-launci;ing capebility under t:ie initial j <br />progrom. Port, City and Counfy officials were in concurrance. I.A. C. represen- <br />tatives offered unoFficial encouragemenh� kut suggested tha� a�c:ral req est be <br />deferred until the authorized first phase work, inc�uding �he hydreulic f ig, � <br />naored completion. � <br />The said authorized work now is rapidly epproaching comoletion. Approxima;ely � <br />two months ago the Port's contractor completed {irst stage operctiors cirected to <br />preperaiion oF the project site for hydreulic fil�ing. Hydraulic filliny oF .� e site <br />by the CorFs of Engineers dredging contractor now is approxima;�ly o:i°o complete, <br />wifh a scheduled comp�etion dote of appro�ima!e!y July 31 .
