A copy is includ:: '�zrein as Er,hibit "C". <br />It moy be noted that the proposed supplemental work will result in a usable <br />facility incorporating the following features: <br />a. A crushed-sock-surfaced access roadwoy exiencing from Norton Averwe <br />to the boet launch ramp. <br />6. A crushed-rock-,ur{aced parking lot with cacacity for aporoximafely <br />150 car/trailer units. � <br />c. A launching ramp of width to accommoc,'ate a minimum of four simulta- <br />neous trailer boat launchings. The ramp site will b� gra�'ed and ballasted <br />with erushed rock. The lowaromp area will be surfuced •,vith precast con- <br />crete inhertied slabs. The upper ramn and approach area will 6e �f esphaltic <br />pavement. <br />d. A drift boom secured by pile dolphins to protect the launching ramp on ihe <br />northerly and norfhwesterly side. <br />e. An articulated service float to be inshalled �'own the center oF the launching <br />ramp. <br />f. If additional fund savings occur, a rock spur j�tty ct fhe southwesferly side <br />of tne boat basin to provide improved wave protection and ho serve as access <br />to a future combination floating wove breok and mooring float, should be <br />considered. <br />The completed interim project would have significanl usability, clthough admih- <br />tedly having the following inadequacies which would hwe to be encured penaing <br />further project funding, The entire eccess roadway and parking area surface wauld <br />be of crushed rock, susceptible �o ruFtin� and dusting, anj with inacequate traffic <br />confrol dividers, curbing and marking. No water supply or conventional sanitary `�" <br />facilities would be available at ihe launch site, except that Sani-con stations <br />could be installed and maintained. The enhire si;e would be barr=n, without <br />plantings or landscaping of any type. No building or shelter would be avoilable <br />No park facilities would exist. Usable parki�g areas would be limited. Au�omo- <br />biles straying off the gravelled areas could become stuck in the fine fill sand. <br />
