PORT OF EVERETT <br />NORTH MARINA REDEVELOPMENT <br />SHALLOW SOIL VCP CLEANUP ACTION <br />SECTION 01011 <br />SUMMARY OF WORK <br />that Site cleanup be adcquate to mcet MTCA requirements and to obtain a no further <br />action (NFA) detcrmination from Ecology. <br />1.02 SITE LOCATION AND RELATED PROPERTY INFORMATION <br />A. The project site is located on Port property west of West Marine View Dm�e between the <br />12`h Street Marina and 14`h Strcet, as indicated ou the Dra�vings. <br />B. The Pori or GM/CM will make available for review pertinent information that it may <br />have as to subsurface conditions, existing utilities, surface topography, and other <br />existing conditions at the site. This information is offered as supplementary information <br />only. Contractor is responsible for determining and verifying existing conditions at <br />�vork locations as necessary to perfomi the �vork under this Contract <br />C. The Port or GM/CM will make available for revicw pertinent information regazding <br />planncd North Marina Rcdevelopment activities as they may impact the work under this <br />Contract. <br />1.03 SITE ACCGSS <br />A. Contractor shall havc acccss to the site and the desibmatcd soil removal area via <br />13`h Street, as indicated on the Drawings. <br />B. The access point(s) mav change over the term of the Contract. Comply with such <br />changcs as directcd by thc GGCM. <br />C. The designated soil rcmoval areas under this Contract are indicated on the Drawings. <br />Onsite areas ava�lable for Contractor use �vill be as designated by die GC/CM. <br />Contractor may be required to relocate work and access areas as required by the GGCm <br />and Port Operations due to other ongoing site redevelopment activities being conducted <br />under separatc contract(s). <br />D. All Contractor's employec cars and other private vehides shall be parked within <br />construction parking areas as designated by the GGCM <br />1.04 �XISTING SITE FEATURGS AND CONDITIONS <br />A. Lxisting site features near the work areas are generally sho�vn on the Drawings. <br />Additional infonnation on site features, utilities, and topography in and near the work <br />areas arc available from a separate set of Drawings by David Evans and Associates <br />(DLA). <br />B. Based on the results of previous investigations, soil is the primary affected medium that <br />requires cleanup. Ground�vater contamination is present, but limited in extent.
