PORT OF EVERETT <br />NORTH MARINA REDEVELOPMENT <br />SHALLOW SOIL VCP CLE.INUP ACTION <br />PART1-GENERAL <br />1.01 DESCRIPTION <br />SECTION 01041 <br />COORD�[NATION <br />A. This section covers Contractor's responsibilities and coordination requirements <br />associated with project planning and implementation, project management, and certain <br />other elements of'the work. <br />1.02 SUBMITTALS <br />A. All project submittals shall be submitted to the Pori m accordance with the provisions of <br />Section 01300. <br />1.03 COORDINATION <br />A. Coordinate site access, ��. cupancy, and use of space made available by the Part to <br />accommodate storage anc� staging of materials �d equipment and the orderly <br />completion of the work �vhile concurrenUy minimizing adverse effects of Contractor's <br />construction activities on the Port's ongoing commercial activities aud others working at <br />and near the site. <br />B. Determine the effect of site access requirements and construction activity by the PorCs <br />personncl and othcr contractors retained by the Port to perform �vork that is not part of <br />this Contract. Requests for additionai compensation to provide site access to other <br />contractors, or for dclays caused by othcr contractors or the Port's personnel will not be <br />considcred. <br />C. Utility purveyors serving the work arca shall be identified and contacted as required to <br />carry out the work under this Contract. These utilities shall be notified immediately if <br />contlicts or emergencies arise during the progress of the work. Contractor shall be <br />responsible for calling to obtain utility location assistance, as required, during the work. <br />D. Coordinate �vith the City of Everett regarding obtaining approval fbr any proposed <br />discharge of construction water to the sanitary scwer system. <br />PART2-PRODUCTS <br />2.01 DESIGNATION OF PROJLCT :�9ANAGEMENT PERSONNEL <br />A.
