PORT OF EVERETT <br />NORTH MARINA REDEVELOPMENT <br />SHALLOW SOIL VCP CLEANIJP ACTION <br />2.04 DRINKING WATER <br />SECTION 01500 <br />TEMPORARY FACILITIES <br />A. Provide drinkitig water for all personnel connected with th� work. Water shall be <br />transported ir sanitary containers to provide clean and hesh water. <br />B. Provide drinkin�; �vatcr for consumption in the exclusion zone(s). Contractor shall <br />devise a method for watcr consumption that does not pose a health and safety risk for <br />site workers. <br />2.05 TEMPORARY TOILG'I'S <br />A. Provide adequate chemical toilet facilities for all individuals connected with the work, in <br />numbers as required by federal and state safety and occupational standards. <br />B. Provide regular service of cach chemical toilet facility to maintain sanitary conditions. <br />Remove units at the completion of the site work. <br />2.06 WATER FOR CONSTRUCTION PURPOSES, DECONTAMINATION, DUST <br />CONTROL, AND FIRE PROTECTION <br />A. Providc clean, potable water and necessary storage, as required, for the work, including <br />storage requirements for dust emissions control in accordance with Section 01565. <br />Watcr may be transported to the site by tanl:er truck or by connections to a nearby fire <br />hydrant or other water source, whichever is more feasible and cost-effective, as <br />approved by the Pori and the City of Everett. <br />B. Make connections and provide piping, hoses, nozzles, and other accessories required to <br />supply water to the site and support zones for accomplishing the work and providing <br />necessary fire protection, and provide and maintain the necessary equipment to mect the <br />requirements of Sections 015G4 and 01565. <br />PART 3 - E7�ECUTION <br />3.01 GENERAL <br />A.
