PORT OF EVERETT <br />NORTH MARINA REDEVELOPMENT <br />SHALLOW SOIL VCP CLEANJP ACTION <br />PART1-GENERAL <br />1.01 DESCRIPTION <br />SECTION 01500 <br />TEMPORARY FACILITIES <br />A. This section specifies requirements for certain temporary facilities to be provided and <br />maintained by Contractor. Unless otherwise indicated by the GGCM, no temporary <br />facilities or utilities will be provided by the Port. <br />B. Temporary facilitics include water, sanitazy, and electrical utilities, parking areas, <br />material and equiPment storage areas, and other temporary site improvements <br />determincd by Contractor as necessary for execution of the work under this Contract. <br />C. Available areas for tcmporary facilitics within and around the site aze limited. Final <br />arrangements ano layouts for temporary facilities shall be proposed by Contractor and <br />approvcd by the Port and the GC/CM. <br />PART2-PRODUCTS <br />2.01 TEMPORARY CONSTRLICTION FACILITIES <br />A. Provide and maintain temporary berms and lining/cover materials as required to prevent <br />movement of waste •naterials, spills, etc. resulting from the work under this Contract. <br />B. Maintain construction, staging, and storage areas in a neat, orderly condition. <br />C. Provide bamcades, tcmporary fencing, waming lights, and other devices required by faw <br />or regulation, or as necessary to protect people on or near the site. <br />2.02 MATERIAL STORAGE <br />A. Construct temporary material and equipment storage areas, as required, to secure and <br />protcct materials and equipment against damage, loss, theft, and vandalism. <br />B. Provide shelters, as required, for material storage to protect goods and supplies against <br />the elements, theft, vandalism, or other damage. <br />2.03 ELECTRICAL <br />A.
