A <br />cons�uction contract has been issued and is in progress to construct these facilities at the WPCF. Utilities <br />now needs to implement the recommendations made in the HDR study to reduce odor released from the <br />�ollection system. HDR is prepared to design and provide consuvction support for two cazbon filters. One <br />system will bA construr.ted at the north end of Shadowood Drive and the second system will be constructed <br />on Lowell Road near Gale Place. <br />RECONII�IENDATION: <br />Utilities recommends t,4at the City Council authorize the Mayor to si� Amendment �Io. 2 to the Professional <br />Services Agreement benveen the City of Everett and HDR Engineering dated December 20, 1996. <br />SO <br />
