Test water at intervals required by City of Everett. <br />3.05 ADJUSTMENTS AND REVISIONS <br />A. <br />� <br />Adjust or move s�vales, berms, pipes, culverts, and silt fences as necessary during <br />construction to direct site runoff to grit chamber. <br />Move, reconstruct, or replace grit chamber as necessary to maintain removal of <br />grit prior to discharge to combined sewer. <br />C. Relocate pumps and discharges as necessary to intercept silt-laden water and <br />convey to grit chamber. <br />3.06 PROTECTION AND MAINTENANCE <br />/:� <br />I� <br />Protection: <br />Where possible, maintain natural vegetation for silt control. <br />2. Prevent silt-laden water from leaving site or from entering off site storm <br />sewer systems. <br />3. Stabilize all slopes, cut, or fill areas where Work has stopped for more <br />than 30 days by covering with PE sheeting, or other method to prevent <br />erosion and sediment transport. <br />4. Keep all off-site parking areas and streets clean from construction <br />activities. Paved surfaces shall be kept clean using mechanica] sweeping <br />equipment, hand shovels and brooms, or other accepted methods suitable <br />of removing dirt, rock, silt, and sand. No street washing will be allowed. <br />Supplementary Measures: Provide additional silt control and temporary erosion <br />control measures as required to protect soils and prevent silt laden runoff from <br />leaving Project site. <br />C. Maintenance: <br />1. <br />?_ <br />Monitor and maintain silt control measures. Remove accumulations of <br />sediment when more than 50 percent of silt storage capacity is filled. <br />Maintain all temporary erosion control facilities until need for each faciliry <br />has been replaced by other stabilization methods and Engineer authorizes <br />removal. <br />3. Inspect and repair temporary erosion control facilities.
