The comments
(and your revicw) are for thc erosion control, grading, drainagc, water, sanitap se«-er, and paving.
Qclow is our responsc to your comments:
I) The city notes for water and sewer are added to sheet C3A as requested.
2) The I S foot oide easement for the public water main is shown as requested.
3) Shect C4.1 —Thc pipc slope has been added bchveen CBs 1& 2 as requested.
4) Shcet C4.2 — The pipe upstrcam Gom CB 9 has been ctended and realigned ro provide a straight
pipe to thc up siream existing CD as requested.
5) Shect C4.4 — Concerning thc gap behveen ihe new concrete esplanade (alkway) and the estrudcd
asphalt curb, we request that the design be accepted as is. The reason is that this is a temporary
condition. The cxtruded curb is used to protect the north edge of the concrete esplanade. We cpect
to replace all AC pavement within about 2 years. The new 14°i Street Marina parking lot will widen
thc esplanade about 7 feet to a total width of 20 feet. The new north edge of the esplanade will scrve
as the curb at tliat time. The AC pavement and curb shown on these drawings will be ground and
used as basc matcrial.
G) Sheets C5.1 through C5.3 — Concerning pavcment hatching at parking stalls encumbered by light
poles. Parking stalls along north ticr that are encumbered by light poles are hatched to show they are
not parking stalls.
Along the esplanade cdge, we have retained the stalls for parking. Stall length from the proposed
whecl slops protecting light poles scale 19 feet.
7) Revised location for vatcr mcter and RPBA serving the marina: is shown on the corcected dravings
(at thc cast end of the bulkhead at station S+90J We are proposing 2-2 inch meters in parallel. We
request ou approve this configuration.
