The comments
(and your review) ure for the erosion conirol, grading, drainage, water, sanitary sewer, and paving.
Bclow is our response to your commenls:
1) The city notes for water and sewer are added to sheet C3.4 as rcquested.
2) The 15 foot wide easement for the public water main is shown as requested.
3) Sheet C4.1 — The pipe slope has been added between CBs 1& 2 as requested.
4) Sheet C4.2 — The pipe upslteam from CB 9 has been extended and realigned ro provide a straight
pipe to the up stream existing CB as requested.
5) Sheet C4.4 — Conceming the gap between the new concrete esplanade (walkway) and the extruded
asphalt curb, we request that the design be accepted as is. The reason is that this is a temporary
condition. The extruded curb is used to protect Ihe north edge of the concrete esplanade. We expect
to replace all AC pavement within about 2 years. The new 14'" Strcet Marina parking lot will widen
the esplunade about 7 feet ro a total width of 20 feet. The new north edge of the esplanade will serve
as the curb at that time. The AC pavement and curb shown on these drawings will be ground and
used as base material.
G) Sheets CS.I through C5.3 — Conceming pavement hatching at parking smlls encumbered by light
poles. Parking stalls ulong north tier that are encumbered by light poles are hatched to show they are
not parking stalls.
Along the esplanade edge, we have retained the stalls for parking. Stall length from the proposed
whecl stops protecting light poles scale 19 feet.
7) Revised location for water meter and RPBA serving the marina: is shown on the corrected drawings
(at the east end of the bulkhead at station 5+90.) We are proposing I-2 inch metec We request you
approvc this configuratin.
