These straps should be installed after treatment. 7he area around the pile cap should be backfilled with a relatively free draining material. 7he onsite soils are not suitable for use as fill in this area due to the high organic content of the soils. CONS7RUL'TION OBSERYATIONS � We recommend that Converse Consultants NW abserve the pile installation to evaluate whether the recommendatians of this report are followed and the provisions in the construction plans and specifications are properly completed during construction. Field actiyities should include the observation of pile installation. We also recommend that we reevaluate our driving criteria once the pile driving equipment and piles hav,:e been chosen.
