Box 7036 <br />Pasadena, CA 91109 <br />Lessee <br />Shoreline Substantial Development Permit <br />Norton Marine Terminal, <br />I900 Norton, north of 21st Street, <br />west of Norton <br />60 acres <br />To construct facilities for assembiy of <br />modules for gas conditioning units to be <br />shipped by barge to Prudhoe Bay, Alaska. <br />The assembled modules will weight up to <br />2000 tons with typical dimensions of 50 by <br />150 feet and average height of 48 feet. <br />The minim�m height is 16 feet and the <br />maximum is `•5 feet. (See Exhibit 3� 4, <br />"Closeup of Uodule" and "Typical Modulc <br />Fabrication Site".) Prefabricate:� <br />materials, includina structural steel. <br />pipic�g, vessels, pumos, motors, an�� <br />electrical equipment would be shipped in by <br />rail, road, and sea for assembly at the site. <br />Approximately 115,000 cubic yards will be <br />excavated south o`_ the existing concre[c <br />pier on the site to create a dead load bargf <br />basin. The excavated material �vill be useci <br />to increase the level of fill on other <br />portions of the site. <br />Peak employment could be up to 1,500 <br />workcrs, most of whom are currencly <br />housed in the Everett vicinity. The <br />average work force will be 575 employees, <br />and traffic generated from these <br />empioyees is expected to Ge 445 vehicles <br />per day. Car pooling will be encouraged <br />and 50-passenger buses will be available to <br />help minimize traffic.
