PORT OP EVERETT <br />f3Al'WOOD AT PRGSTON POINT SITE PREPARATION <br />PARTI-GGNERAL <br />� <br />A. <br />N <br />I? <br />�, <br />GENERAL STATEMENT AND EXTENT OF WORK <br />BASE BID WORK <br />SECTION 01010 <br />SUMMARY OFTHE WORK <br />Work includes clearing of vegetation, excavating wxste material within the outer perimerer <br />of dike ard stockpiling it on site, constructing approximately 2000 linear feet of earthen <br />dike, hydroseeding die dike, and constructing access roads :�nd erosion control reyuired for <br />the work. <br />ALTERNATE WORK <br />Alrernate 1- Remove Waste from Ent've Site <br />Work includes clearing of vegetation, excavating waste material, removing waste material <br />from the site to a contracror supplieci disposal site, and constructing access roads reyuired <br />for the work. <br />Alternate 2- Remove Existing Overhead Utilities <br />VVork includes disconnecting existing power and telephone service, removing existing <br />po�rer and telephone lines, poles, conduits, and site lighting, and disposing of removed <br />materials. <br />Alremate 3- Demolidon of Existing Structures <br />Work in�ludes demolishing existing structures and foundations, capping utilities, and <br />removing svucmre rubbish anr� debris from the site to a contractor supplied disposal site. <br />Buildings include buildings A, B, C, and D as noted on the drawings. <br />4. Alremate 4- Demolition of Exisdng Concrete and Asphai. <br />Work includes Demolishing and excavating existing miscellaneous concrete and asphalt <br />��•ithin the limits of the work. Rubble may be processed on site to a tnaximum particle size <br />of 2 inches or disposed of at a contractor supplied disposal site. <br />5.
