Calculations should be provided to verify that all intermediate rails, columns aze capable of <br />withstanding a load of 25 pounds per square foot applied horizontally at right angles over the <br />entire tributary area per Foomote 9 to Table 16-B. <br />9 The joist hangers should be shown to be an adequate support to the removable rails. Most <br />hangers are designed to support a joist for vertical loads only.
