Marine Vl OITV OF EVERGTf, EVERETT VJASHINGTON 7-19-85: Received complaint from next door neighbor concer�ing the vacant house and the garage that had been destroyed by fire. 7-19-85: Inspected the structure and posted the house "Illegal to Occupy." Notified Mike 0'Malley of the conditions and he secured the house. 9-16-85 12-23-05: 16 3-04-8G Called Mike 0'Malley and reminded him �hat the falling down garage had to be removed. Neighbor called. Someone was in the 0'Malle;� house and attempted to hook into the electricity at neighbor's house, causing disruption in the neighbor's electrical service and nearly caused a fire. I called Mike 0'Malley, he wos not available so I left' word for him to call me. Another complaint came in regarding two men living in the house. 3-07-8�: i inspected the area at 8:30 p.m. and did not see anything unusual. Inspections were conducted during the day on a periodic basis and I did not see anyone at the ho��:-. 4-22-86: The structure is sett::ng open again. I called Mike 0'Malley several times now and he has not cooperated with the City. I ordered a title report to begin abatement. 6-19-86: Structure was repostPd "Illegal to Occup}•." 6-19-86: Building Official Notice and Order was sent certified mail, return receipt requested. Mike 0'Malley signed for the Notice. Scheduled to go before Council on September 24, L986. 9-23-86: Re�eived a call Prom Laura Nelson, 0'Malley's bookkeeper.. Mike 0'Malley is in Ireland, he was injured and was presently recoverine. He would not be back in tlie States for another five weeks. I asked that she have Mike send me a letter explaining his situation and what he planned on duing witli the house. 10-14-86: I called laura Nelson, she said Mike 0'Malley returned a couple days ago. 10-22-86: A Notice of Noncompliance with the Bui].ding Official NiticE and Order was filed with the County Auditor. This clouds the title of the property. 10-22-86: A Supplemental Notice and Order was sent to 0'Malley giving f�im until November 7 to begin rzpair or demolition.
