RESOLUTION N0. <br />� ' <br />A RESQ�_UTION authorizing the demolition of a , <br />building situated on tl�e property located at 3013 <br />West Marine View Drive. j <br />WHEREAS, the City of Evere�t Building Official has found that the buildingl <br />which i.s located at 3013 West Marine View Drive is a substan,iard structure � <br />based upon the standards set forth in the Uniform Housing Code; and i <br />WFfREAS, the Building Official has found that the building is dangerous I <br />pursuant to the standards set forth in the Uniform Code for the Abatement ofl <br />Dangerous Buildings; and <br />',�I WF�REAS, the Building Offic;al issued an Order requesting the owner of the <br />property to make the necessary repairs or to demolish the building; and � <br />� I <br />WHEREAS, the required repairs or demolition have not taken place as was <br />I� required in the Order which was duly served upon the owner of the property; and�, <br />WHEREAS, the City Council finds the Building Official has the authority tol <br />, recommend this actiun pursuant to the iJniform Housing Code; and �I <br />WHEREAS, the City Council finds that the owner of the property has beenll <br />given notice of this Council meeting; and <br />WHErtEAS, the City Council finds thnt there has been no appeal of the Order <br />issued by the Building Official and that the appeal perind has expired; and <br />WHEREAS, the City Council, upon due consideration, deems it in the best <br />interest of the healih, safety and welfare of the public that a resolu�ion be� <br />adopted requiring demolition of the building: � <br />KOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY OF EVE7tETT: Ii <br />Section 1: That the building situated on the property located at 3013�1 <br />West Marine View Drive, which is lagally described as follows, contains <br />conditions which are substandard and may endanger the life, limb, health,l <br />property, safety and welfare of the public. <br />Legal description: The South half of Lot 7 and all of Lot 8, Block 721, <br />Plat of Everett Division "H", as per the plat recorded in Volume 4 of <br />Plats, page 50, records of Snohomish County, Washington. <br />Situate in the City of Everett, County of Snohomish, State of Washington. <br />
