The entire north wall of the building has an area of2296 square feet. <br />According to table 704.8 for protected openings 3' to 5' feet from the property <br />line the maximum area of these openings is 15% of the area of the exterior <br />wall. 15% of 2296 square feet is 344 square feet. The six windows equal 112 <br />square feet and the door adds 20 square feet (total 140 sq. fl.).
