James, AIA
. One Lake Bellevue Drive, 104
Bellevue, Washington ,98005
REF: Property located on the, southeast corner of Madison Street
and Rainier Drive, Everett, Washington.
Dear Mr. James:
This report represents the results of our soils investigation
and our recommendations concerning the development of the site.
We conducted this investigation upon your verbal request. This
report conforms to U.B.C. Section 2905 (C) .
A. Soil classifications are given hereinafter. They are based
upon observations and necessary tests of the materials dis-
closed by three auger drilled test holes. In our opinion,
• acditional studies are not necessary.
B 1. A plot plan showing the location of test pits is attached.
2. The material encountered is most similar to the Alderwood-
Urban land complex. The samples consisted of the following:
A. A layer of dark brown topsoil, 12" to 18" thick. This
contains organics, roots and gravel. This is not suit-
able to support building loads.
B. Beneath the topsoil, a layer of light brown, silty,
sandy gravel to a depth of more than 40". This is '
suitable to support building loads. (Please see
attachments. )
