EXHIBIT A 5 SCOPE OF WORK Work to Be Performed Scope of work for Senator Henry M. Jackson Park: The scope of work for this project includes collecting conceptual ideas and desired outcome for the improvements from the City for the park,consolidating that information while providing professional input and analysis to create park development plans. The following minimum features will be addressed in the development plans: Pedestrian Circulation: Trail layout for the park, including surfacing materials and construction specifications. Children's Play Area: Locations and space for playground equipment including size, shape, drainage (if required)and play-chip containment Parking Lot Improvements: Analyze existing parking and redesign as needed Park Amenities: Specify types and locations of park benches and garbage cans, including detailing of how they are connected to the site Irrigation Improvements: Irrigation plan based on conceptual design by park staff. Planting Plan: Planting plan will be included that specifies plant material additions and specifications for all areas of the park. Restroom Building Improvements: Recommend a location for a new restroom, including providing a connection to the pedestrian access path. Plaza: Propose a location and general layout for a plaza honoring the parks history and Senator Jackson including material selection, surfacing and construction detailing.
