5 EXHIBIT A <br /> SCOPE OF WORK <br /> Scope of work for Grand Avenue Park: <br /> The scope of work includes collecting the conceptual ideas, consolidating that information while <br /> providing professional input and analysis to create a Park development plan. <br /> The following minimum features have been identified by the Parks Department to be addressed <br /> in this Park development plan: <br /> Pedestrian Circulation: Widen the existing sidewalk and add a system of bollards along the road <br /> frontage. <br /> Site Lighting: Specify locations and type of site lighting,including pole attachment. All <br /> electrical design is excluded from this proposal and scope of work. <br /> Park Amenities: Specify types and locations of park benches and garbage cans, including <br /> detailing of how they are connected to the site. <br /> Irrigation: Irrigation plan ,conceptual design by park staff <br /> Planting Plan: Planting plan will be included that specifies plant material additions and <br /> specifications for all areas of the park. <br /> Plaza:Develop a plan for a wider plaza to enhance the existing overlook and overall functionality <br /> of the park. This part of the project includes the layout,material selection, surfacing and <br /> construction detailing. <br /> Products for all three projects <br /> 1. Produce draft drawings for the City staff to review. <br /> 2. The draft drawings will be revised to reflect requested changes and then returned to the <br /> City for final review. <br /> 3. If changes are require after the second review,they will be made and incorporated into <br /> construction documents. <br /> 4. A cost opinion will be provided at the completion of the second review. <br /> 5. The service provider will assemble bid packages for the City based on the City's typical <br /> bid package and procedures for this type of project. <br /> 6. Provide addendums or bid clarifications as needed. <br /> 7. Assist with final contractor selection. <br /> 8. Provide construction administration services and required coordination between the City <br /> and the contractor. <br /> 20 <br /> 11 <br />
