9
Contract Time
Original contract time of this project was for 210 calendar days. Change order 41 and
42 added seventy-three, (73), and fifty-one, (51)calendar days respectively to the
contract.
This change order adds one hundred and three, (103),additional calendar days to the
contract time. The contract was considered substantially complete on Friday,January
27,2006.
The issue of the failed insulation impacted the project time frame considerably as
painting and electrical work within the Alum/Polymer Storage Building could not
continue until the scaffolding, (required within the building to complete the ceiling
insulation work), was removed. This insulation work delayed the electrical
subcontractor's work into a different time zone then originally planned. The City of •
Everett also affected change to the control panel that was not communicated to
Systems Interface, which also resulted in project delay.
The above additional cost of$10,000.00 constitutes all additional cost of any kind
resulting from adding one hundred and three, (103),calendars days to the contract •
time.
A letter of substantial completion has been written for Friday, January 27, 2006.
Once all items on the punch list are completed a letter of physical completion will be
forwarded, along with a final estimate and final contract voucher for review and
execution.
•
•
Exhibit A 24
