AMENDMENT NO. 1 TO PROFESSIONAL SERVICES AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE CITY OF EVERETT AND KROLL, SCHIFF & ASSOCIATES The City and Kroll, Schiff& Associates agree to amend and modify their professional services agreement dated February 24, 2006 (the "Agreement") as follows: WHEREAS, the City entered into an agreement with Kroll, Schiff and Associates to design security improvements for the Water Filtration Plant and the Water Pollution Control Facility for the City of Everett; and WHEREAS, work is not yet complete on the security design for the Water Filtration Plant and the Water Pollution Control Facility, and WHEREAS, the agreement is likely to expire prior to completion of those projects and the parties expect the work to be completed by July 31, 2007; and WHEREAS, the City and Kroll, Schiff and Associates agree to amend their Agreement to extend time for completion from July 31, 2006 to July 31, 2007 with no increase in compensation; NOW THEREFORE, the City of Everett and Kroll, Schiff and Associates agree to amend and modify the Agreement as follows: 1. Paragraph 3 is modified to read as follows: This Agreement shall commence as of the date of execution of this Agreement and shall be completed by July 31, 2007_ 4.
