. EXHIBIT A 2 SCOPE OF WORK 1_ Work to Be Performed 1. Review findings and recommendations contained within reports from previously conducted security assessments and studies. 2. Meet with Filtration Plant and Waste Water Plant personnel and other City representatives no more than four times to further define requirements for the security system improvements. 3. Conduct field surveys of site and buildings to determine exact locations of security devices and preferred methods of routing cabling, conduits and raceways. 4. Identify locations for security equipment backboards. 5. Prepare security device drawings showing type and location of security devices_ 6. Prepare infrastructure drawings showing security system raceway and back box requirements and power requirements. 7. Prepare detail drawings as needed to show special installation requirements. 8. Coordinate power requirements and conduit routing with plant maintenance staff. 9_ Prepare opinions of probable construction cost for security system equipment and infrastructure work. 10. Prepare technical specifications for security system equipment. 11. Prepare technical specifications for infrastructure work including conduit and back boxes. 12. Conduct not more than four review meetings with Filtration Plant personnel, Wastewater Treatment Plant personnel and other City representatives to review security system and infrastructure design. 13. Provide assistance at pre-bid conference. 14. Respond to technical questions from bidders and issue written clarifications and addendums as required_ 15. Assist City in reviewing and evaluating bid proposals. 16. Review contractor submittals and shop drawings. 17. Respond to contractor request-for-information (RFI) inquiries. 18. Make periodic visits to site to observe installation work. 19. Conduct final inspection of completed work. Prepare punch-list of deficiencies requiring correction. Page l0 of 12 5
