Hough Beck& Baird is pleased to submit this revised scope of work and fee proposal for <br /> final engineering and design services.Having been involved with the preliminary design of Marine Park,we have <br /> the knowledge,background,and project familiarity to efficiently perform these services. Our scope and fee <br /> proposal is based upon our phone conversations with you on November 21,2005;November 25,2005 and the e- <br /> mails you sent to us relating to this project. <br /> We have organized our proposed scope of work and fees in a"menu"format so you can modify tasks to meet <br /> your specific project requirements. In consideration of the following proposed scope of work, we are suggesting a <br /> Time and Expense form of agreement with an estimated maximum design fee. We reserve the right to reallocate <br /> time within our scope-of-work task items as needed to complete your project most effectively. Per your request, <br /> the proposal has been revised to separate the parking area from the park(see Exhibit 1). <br /> A. PARKING AREA <br /> Task 1: Parking Area Final Design &Construction Documents $ 5,164.00 <br /> 1.1 Base Information: The Port will provide an AutoCAD site survey of existing conditions <br /> for the parking area site. HB&B will assist you with the coordination of survey items <br /> needed. Using the survey and the Port's standard title block, HB&B will create a base <br /> drawing in AutoCAD 2004 format. <br /> 1.2 Meetings: HB&B will attend one meeting with the Port, City of Everett, and Snohomish <br /> County staff to review and confirm the final parking area design, layout, and time <br /> schedule and obtain any additional design direction. <br /> 1.3 Site Visit: HB&B will visit the site to review and confirm site conditions per the final <br /> parking design. Confirm code requirements. <br /> 1.4 90%Construction Drawings & Cost Estimate: HB&B will prepare 90% level <br /> construction drawings and cost estimate for review. These drawings will be preliminary <br /> level drawings to show site design and layout to coordinate with 12th Street Marina <br /> parking area design and specifications.
