Mr.Kim Buike <br /> 06 January 2006 <br /> Page 2 <br /> 1.5 Final Construction Drawings& Cost Estimates: HB&B will prepare final construction <br /> drawings and cost estimate based on comments received from the Port,City of Everett, <br /> and Snohomish County after their review of the 90%drawings. <br /> 1.6 Quality Control: We will conduct a quality control review of the 90%drawings and <br /> 100% drawings. <br /> Parking Area Sub Consultants: <br /> HB&B will coordinate the design work of PND Consulting Engineers (with J-Omega)regarding civil <br /> engineering,utility,stormwater drainage, electrical design and parking lot improvements,as well as the cost <br /> estimates of improvements(See attached PND letter). <br /> PND: $22,000.00 <br /> Expenses: $50.00 <br /> Parking Area Total: $27,214.00 <br /> Parking Area Assumptions: <br /> The task items above are based on the following assumptions: <br /> 1) An accurate survey will be provided by the Port of Everett. <br /> 2) There are no contaminated soils on-site that will affect the construction of parking lot improvements. <br /> 3) Specifications will be the same as 12th Street Marina specifications. <br /> 4) Land use approvals and permits will be taken care of by the Port of Everett. <br /> 5) This task item does not include construction administration. <br /> B. PARK <br /> Task 1: 30% Park Drawings $ 5,818.00 <br /> 1.1 Base Information: The Port will provide an AutoCAD site survey of existing conditions <br /> for the project site.HB&B will assist you with the coordination of survey items needed. <br /> Using the survey and the Port's standard title block,HB&B will create a base drawing in <br /> AutoCAD 2004 format. <br /> 1.2 Meetings: HB&B will attend up to two meetings with the Port, City of Everett,and <br /> Snohomish County staff to review and confirm the final preliminary design and time <br /> schedule and obtain any additional design direction. <br /> 1.3 Site Visit: HB&B will visit the site to review and confirm existing site conditions per the <br /> existing final preliminary design. Confirm shoreline, building,and land use code <br /> requirements. <br /> 1.4 30%Drawings: HB&B will prepare 30% level construction documents for inclusion in <br /> the Shoreline Permit package.These drawings will be preliminary level drawings to show <br /> general site design and layout per shoreline permit requirements.They will include: <br /> planting, irrigation,hardscape(pathways,Jetty Island"plaza",& WWTA"plaza"), raised <br /> beach areas and play area surfacing. HB&B will also assist engineers with grading plans <br /> and relocation of existing site elements. <br /> 1.5 Quality Control: We will conduct a quality control review of the 30%drawings during <br /> this work task. <br /> 28 <br />
