The SRO officers will focus upon the <br /> more basic school safety and security issues,patrol their schools and District sponsored events. SRO officers will <br /> also serve as a positive resource to students,parents, teachers and administrators with information, support and <br /> problem solving mediation and facilitation. <br /> For the 2006-2007 school year,the District shall pay the City a total of one hundred sixty thousand four hundred and <br /> ninety-seven dollars($160,497)for the high schools' SRO Programs. For the 2007-2008 school year, the District <br /> shall pay the City a total of one hundred sixty-seven thousand one hundred and eighty-three dollars ($167,183) for the <br /> high schools' SRO Programs. For the 2008—2009 school year, the District shall pay the City a total of one hundred <br /> seventy-four thousand two hundred and forty-three dollars($174,243)for the high schools' SRO Programs. <br /> RECOMMENDATION <br /> Authorize Mayor to sign the Agreement between the City of Everett and the Everett Public Schools for the <br /> continuation of the School Resource Officer Program at the District's high schools located within the City. l <br />
