B, 1990 <br /> SUBJ : McKee property and buildings situated at 2129 <br /> Rockefeller, 180'7 and 1809 22nd St . <br /> At your request, I submit this memo with the folloaing report <br /> regarding the above aubject property : <br /> �'. <br /> The city began receiving complaints about the exterior <br /> cunditions of the property in May 1985 . Complaints ranged <br /> from tall grass to furniture, garbage and �unk vehicles . <br /> Inspections were made and the owner was contacted. <br /> Eventually the furniture, garbage and vehicles were removed. <br /> In 1987 complaints were received concerninq the structures <br /> being occupied by transients and teen age girls . Previous <br /> research on the property revealed that electrical power was <br /> off to all three buildings and water service had been shut <br /> oEY and the meter padlocked for non payment. <br /> On Sept. 16, 1987, the buildings wEre posted "Illegal to <br /> Occupy" . During the inspection and posting, Larry Callahan, <br /> Building Official, aas present and we talk�d with some of the <br /> individuals occupying one uf the buildings . A five page <br /> letter, containing the reports on each building, was sent to <br /> the owner of the property, Tom McKee, and he was given ten <br /> days to respond with a remedy to correct all violating <br /> conditions . Violations were noted pursuant to the Uniform <br /> Housing Code and the llangerous Building Code. <br /> On Sept. 2N, 1987 I suUmitted a six page detailed report to <br /> the file regarding my inspection of the buildings on Sept. <br /> 16th . <br />
