Thc purposc of this study was to compictc <br />subsurfacc cxplorations at thc projcct sitc and to providc gcotechnical and cnvironmcntal <br />j cnginccring conclusions and recommcndations for thc dcsign and consU�uction of the proposcd <br />� facility. �Ve presented prcliminary findin�s and field exploration results in a technical <br />, mcmorandum datcd Junc l9, 2002. On ]uly lS, 3002. wc providcd prcliminary groundwatcr <br />control and dc�eatcring recommcndations in a memorandum. <br />Our work was performed in gcneral accordancc with om• proposals dated January 7 and Pebruary <br />20, 2002; thc Pcbruary propose�l was latcr revised on May 3, 2002. Tasks included in thcsc h��o <br />proposals arc ficld c�ploralions and prep�ration of a mcmorandum summarizing ficld findings, <br />and gcotechnical design services. ivir.
