These comments address building issues only. Additional revisions <br />or additions may be required by other departrnents (such as Utilities, Planning or Fire). <br />All references refer to the 1997 Uniform Building Code, as amended by the State of <br />Washington and/or Washington State Energy Code 1997 Edition, unless stated <br />otherwise. <br />In order for the processing of your application to continue, it will be necessary to <br />provide the Building Division with two complete new sets of drawings retlecting the <br />corrections requested. <br />NON STRUCTURAL <br />General <br />1. The occupancy, total building area (including basement) and type of construction <br />should be shown in a project data section on the cover sheet. Section 106.3.3 <br />2. A floor plan for the proposed basement storage should be included in the plan <br />submittal. Note that two exits are required per Section 1004.2.3.2. Section 1063.2 <br />3. If the total area of the building is greater than 3000 square fee, than an automatic fire <br />detection system will ix required.
