4. In order to minimize erosion, any spoil piles must be covered with plastic sheeting or other <br />impervious covering staked to the ground or anchored with rocks or sandbags. Berms, earthen or <br />othenvise, should be constructed at the perimeter of excavated areas lo prevent adjacent site runoff <br />from entering the excavations. If contamination of the surrounding soils is discovered, and remediation will take place, an erosion <br />conlrol plan must be submitteJ for approval by the Public Works Department. An Environmental Impact Statement is not req�iired under RCW <br />43.21 C.030(2)(c).
