When <br />discharge samples exceed a benchmark, then you must follow additional- permit <br />requirements. .... ---- - <br />• Additional information regarding sampling and reporting will be sent to you prior to October <br />2006. <br />Refer to Condition S4 (pages 10-IS) for more information. <br />Discharges to Impaired Waterbodiies <br />• if your site discharges into an impaired water body that is on the 303(d) list for turbidity, <br />fine sediment, high pH, or phosphorus, additional sampling may be required. <br />• See Condition S8 (pages 18-21) for more information. <br />• EPA recently approved the 2004 303(d) list, which includes water bodies not previously on <br />the 303(d) list. Ecology will be reviewing the newly approved list and will notify you if any <br />additional sampling requirements apply to you. <br />Stormwater Pollution Prevention. Plan <br />• Each site must have a Storwater Pollution Prevention Plat. (SWPPP) which describes the <br />m <br />erosion and sediment control measures used on the site to protect water quality. The SI PPP <br />requirements are. contained in Condition S9 (pages 21-29). . <br />• Remember to keep your SWPPP updated_ The permit contains specific timelines for <br />SWPPP updates based on inspection results by the site inspector or Ecology. <br />Permit 'Transfer <br />• When you sell or transfer operational control of all, or a portion, of your site to one or more <br />new operator(s), permit coverage must also be transferred: <br />• To transfer permit coverage, submit a Transfer of Coverage fora to Ecology. <br />Notice of Termination <br />• Permit coverage may be terminated (cancelled) when the site has uudergone final <br />stabilization with permanent vegetation or equivalent measures which prevents erosion. <br />• To terminate permit coverage, submit a Notice of Tertnination.(NOT) to Ecology. If you do <br />not'submit a NOT, you will remain responsible for permit compliance and permit fees. <br />• Refer to Condition S10' on page 29 for moire information. <br />Appeal of Pern-0 Coverage <br />The terms and conditi.ons of a general permit,, as they apply to an individual disehaTVT, can be:.; _... <br />appealed- within 30 days of the effective -date of coverage of that dischaiger (see' Chapter 43.21D <br />RCW). This appeal is limited to the general permit's applicability or non -applicability to. a. <br />specific discharger.. <br />
