A construction company is loated on the adjacent prop y
the east.
we understand the property on which the batch plant is to be sited
is roughly 3UU feet square and covers about two (2) acres. Most of
the site has been covered with six (6) to nine (9) feet of sandy
fill.
Il appears the site was low and wet before it was filled.
GEULUGY
The two borings showed very similar sil::. Nine (9) feet of fill
was found overlying silt and sand river eoosits. The fill is a
loose silty sand. We un:ierstand the fill was baroed to the site
from a project up river. We understand the the fill was placed in
the summer of 1983.
The river sediments include ten (lU) to fifteen (15) feat of soit
silt which overlies silty sand. The density of the sand increaseo
with depth, varying from loose to very dense. This sand was found
to the termination depth oi the borings, forty-nine (49) feet.
