Since 2002, Everett <br /> residents have availed themselves of the opportunity to enjoy live stage productions locally in growing <br /> numbers. Kidstage attendance has increased by 35%; Mainstage by 20%; subscribers by 23%; and total <br /> patron visits have increased from 69,354 for the 2002/03 season to a projected 82,000 for the 2005/06 <br /> season. The City's subsidy of Village Theater productions has been eliminated, and Village Theatre will be <br /> charged rent for usage of the facility under the proposed agreement. <br /> RECOMMENDATION (Exact action requested of Council): Authorize the mayor to execute the attached <br /> Agreement with Village Theatre for the Management of the Everett Performing Arts Center and Presentation <br /> of Theatrical Productions. <br /> 8O <br />
