Design work has recently reached 30%progress. <br /> Pursuant to recent offsite sewer and water utility planning related to the Providence Everett Medical Center <br /> (PEMC), it has become evident that it will be advantageous to replace approximately 1,140 linear feet of <br /> deteriorated City sewer mains, manholes and side sewers in an adjacent area(generally in the 1300, 1400 and <br /> 1500 blocks on Oakes/Lombard Ayes.). This approach will combine the needed replacement of deteriorated <br /> City sewers together with the system upgrades needed by PEMC resulting in lower construction costs for <br /> both parties and significantly reducing the construction impacts on the residents of this neighborhood. <br /> The total project scope will consist of 6,240 linear feet of sewer replacement and 2,000 linear feet of <br /> watermain replacement.
