Hall Golf Budget Committee Course 10/25/06 Amount Budgeted $1,125,000 Expenditure Required $1,125,000 Account Number(s): Fund 440,Golf Budget Remaining Additional Required DETAILED SUMMARY STATEMENT: During the Status of Golf Report at the October 11,2006 City Council meeting,two projects were identified as being critical to the long-term financial stability of the Golf Fund 440: paved golf cart paths at Walter E. Hall and expanded golf cart storage at both facilities. Both of these projects(and their funding) were identified and approved by City Council on September 13, 2006 as a budget amendment to the Golf Fund 440 using an interfund loan from CIP 4. Parks staff recommends utilizing CIP 3 for the golf cart path paving project and continued use of an interfund loan from CIP 4 for the construction of storage buildings at both courses. RECOMMENDATION(Exact action requested of Council): Adopt the proposed ordinance establishing funding for certain capital improvements to the City of Everett municipal golf courses,Legion Memorial and Walter E. Hall and repealing Ordinance No. 2906-06. 50
