r f <br /> ORDINANCE NO. <br /> AN ORDINANCE establishing funding for certain capital improvements to the City of <br /> Everett municipal golf courses, Legion Memorial and Walter E. Hall and repealing <br /> Ordinance No. 2906-06. <br /> WHEREAS,the City of Everett is committed to a planned parks capital improvement <br /> program as a part of the City of Everett Parks & Recreation Comprehensive Plan; and <br /> WHEREAS,the City of Everett is requesting funding approval for the utilization of <br /> Capital Improvement Program 3 (CIP 3) for the construction of paved golf cart paths at <br /> Walter E. Hall; and <br /> WHEREAS,the City of Everett is requesting funding approval for the utilization of <br /> Capital Improvement Program 4 (CIP 4) for the construction of golf cart storage <br /> buildings at Legion Memorial and Walter E. Hall; <br /> NOW,THEREFORE,THE CITY OF EVERETT DOES ORDAIN: <br /> Section 1: <br /> A special appropriation was established in Fund 440 by Ordinance No. 2933-06 to <br /> accumulate all costs for the aforementioned capital improvements. <br /> Section 2: <br /> Authorization was given by Ordinance No. 2933-06 to accumulate costs and distribute <br /> payments from Fund 440 for the capital improvements. <br /> Section 3: <br /> Authorization is hereby granted to the Parks and Recreation Director, under direction of <br /> the Mayor,to assume full and complete responsibility for conducting all tasks and doing <br /> all things to accomplish the actions authorized in this ordinance. <br /> Section 4: <br /> The sum of$1,125,000 was appropriated to Fund 440 as follows: <br /> A. Estimated Project Costs <br /> Paved Golf Cart Paths $ 900,000 <br /> Golf Cart Storage Buildings $ 225,000 <br /> Total Estimated Costs $ 1,125,000 <br /> 51. <br />
