n <br /> 3 <br /> PROJECT INFORMATION <br /> Complete Preliminary Engineering (PE) for the northern terminal at Everett Station for <br /> Community Transit's SR99 Swift Bus Rapid Transit(BRT) line. The preferred location is <br /> adjacent to Everett Station at 33`d St. between McDougall and Smith Avenues. An alternate <br /> site located on 32nd St. between McDougall and Smith Avenues is also under consideration. <br /> The work will include reconfiguring the existing roadway, sidewalk, landscaping, and <br /> utilities at the existing site to accommodate a new BRT terminal consisting of 2-4 BRT <br /> vehicle bays, shelters, lighting, landscaping, real-time bus arrival signs, off-board ticket <br /> vending machines and other station amenities to support the new Swift BRT line. <br /> SUBMITTAL OF QUALIFICATIONS (SOQ) <br /> The Consultant team must have strong and successful experience with the following (please <br /> list specific roles of team members when noting experience in past projects): <br /> • State of the Art knowledge and demonstrated experience in project planning <br /> and engineering <br /> • Experience in traffic and safety analysis <br /> • Demonstrated expertise in capital cost estimation and operating & <br /> maintenance (O&M) cost estimation <br /> • Demonstrated expertise in scope management, schedule adherence, cost <br /> control, risk assessment and productivity <br /> • Demonstrated expertise in developing projects that comply with the <br /> Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) in regard to accessible transit <br /> • Experience in similar transportation planning and design projects, specifically <br /> with multimodal centers or bus rapid transit stations <br /> • Experience in working with diverse clients and complicated settings <br /> • Experience in public involvement and stakeholder input in a public education <br /> environment <br /> WSDOT REQUIREMENTS <br /> In addition to the City of Everett's requirements this project may be partially funded with a <br /> WSDOT Regional Mobility Grant. The additional requirements levied by WSDOT upon <br /> Regional Mobility Grant recipients must be met by the recipient and by the successful <br /> proposer, as applicable. <br /> 7 <br /> SCOPE OF SERVICES,PAGE 3 OF 5 <br />
