I I am familiar with the City of Everett Vision 2025 Team Statement,the 2005 update of the Everett Comprehensive Plan,the Downtown Plan, and the North Marina Master Plan. There are many physical and social challenges still ahead as Snohomish County and Everett will continue to grow in the 21St century. My daughter grew up in Everett and attended Everett public schools from kindergarten through high school, graduating fourth in her class from Everett High School in 1995. My wife is employed by Everett Community College as program coordinator for the Japanese Cultural Center/Nippon Business Institute. As a 26 year resident of Everett and lifelong resident in the Puget Sound area, I have a strong interest in the future of Everett,and believe it will become a much bigger economic and cultural player in the Pacific Northwest. It has been my privilege to contribute toward a healthier county and city since I moved here in 1981. I would be honored to also contribute as a volunteer member of the Everett Cultural Commission.
