5 <br /> CITY OF EVERETT <br /> PUBLIC WORKS <br /> REQUEST FOR QUALIFICATIONS <br /> City of Everett Riverfront Development <br /> The City of Everett is requesting Statements of Qualifications(SOQs) for preliminary design,preparation <br /> of applications for federal, state, and City permits,preparation of design and construction documents and <br /> construction assistance for improvements related to the City's Riverfront Property.A redevelopment of <br /> approximately 210 acres that encompasses properties along the Snohomish River from the city's Rotary <br /> Park to Pacific Avenue. The work is within the former Everett Landfill and Simpson Mill Sites,both <br /> sites that have been listed and undergone MTCA related cleanups <br /> Separate Statement of Qualifications are being sought for the following Groups of Projects: <br /> 1.Roadway and bridge design,and site grading/preload design.Potential work tasks include <br /> preliminary engineering,permitting,preparation of design and construction documents,and construction <br /> assistance for: A. 2-lane round-about at the east end of the 41St St. Overcrossing B. Simpson site access <br /> road&bridge C. 2000 ft roadway design and associated signal and intersection improvements. D. Site <br /> grading, fill and preload design for 50 acre development site of a former landfill. <br /> 2.Landfill gas and leachate collection system design.Potential work tasks include preliminary <br /> engineering,permitting,preparation of design and construction documents,and construction assistance <br /> for: A.Reconstruction of the leachate collection.B.Plan review for a gas collection system, and <br /> technical assistance development activity on a former landfill site. <br /> 3. Public Amenities,park,and wetland and habitat enhancements.Potential work tasks include <br /> conducting a public amenities charette,preliminary design,permitting,preparation of design and <br /> construction documents, and construction assistance for: A. 3 acre public park B.Public amenity <br /> projects, including:paved and gravel trails,boardwalks,covered shelters, and pedestrian bridges C. <br /> Wetland and habitat enhancements and expansion projects, including: wetland enhancements,habitat <br /> enhancement, stream connections,wetland expansions, interpretive/educational sites,and stormwater <br /> treatment bioswales. <br /> he work tasks for each Group of Projects may also include: site evaluations,wetland and habitat surveys <br /> and assessments, surveying and preparation of base maps, surface water hydraulic evaluations, <br /> geotechnical engineering, ,preparation of final design plans and specifications, and construction related <br /> support. <br /> Respondents wishing to be considered for more than one Groups of Projects must submit separate <br /> (SOQ's)for each being considered. <br /> The following must be submitted with each SOQ:: <br /> 1. A list and description of at least six projects that your firm has completed in the past 5 years that <br /> relates to the Group of Projects <br /> a. Project Description <br /> b. Key project staff and roles. <br />
