The Board of Adjustment, under the Everett Municipal Code, was responsible for review of <br /> applications for zoning variances when the variance is not associated with another application, such as a <br /> subdivision or shoreline permit. The attached ordinance would move variances to the Hearing Examiner <br /> review process. The Examiner already has authority to rule on variances that are associated with other <br /> applications. The ordinance also amends other sections of the EMC that refer to the Board of Adjustment. <br /> RECOMMENDATION (Exact action requested of Council): Adopt an Ordinance amending City <br /> regulations pertaining to the Board of Adjustment, Ordinance No's. 2050-95, 2151-96, 2240-97, 2530-01, <br /> 2719-03, 325-74, and 534-78. <br /> 86 <br />
