11 <br /> ORDINANCE NO. <br /> An Ordinance Amending City Regulations Pertaining to the Board of Adjustment, - <br /> Ordinance No's. 2050-95, 2151-96, 2240-97, 2530-01, 2719-03, 325-74, and 534-78. <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Everett did create a Charter Review Committee in 2006 to <br /> review and recommend certain changes to the City of Everett Charter for consideration <br /> by the Everett City Council; and <br /> WHEREAS, the Charter Review Committee did recommend various changes to the City <br /> Council, and the City Council placed potential amendments to the City of Everett Charter <br /> on the September 19, 2006 ballot, including the elimination of the Board of Adjustment; <br /> and <br /> WHEREAS, the voters of the City of Everett did approve the amendments to the City of <br /> Everett Charter, including the elimination of the Board of Adjustment; and <br /> WHEREAS, such action by the voters requires certain amendments to the City's Local <br /> Project Review Procedures (EMC Title 15) and other sections of the Everett Municipal <br /> Code; and <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council finds that the amendments to the City's Local Project <br /> Review Procedures (EMC Title 15) and other affected sections of the Everett Municipal <br /> Code promote the best long term interests of the Everett community. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY OF EVERETT DOES ORDAIN: <br /> Section 1. Section 4(B) of Chapter 4 of Ordinance No. 2530-01, as amended by Section <br /> 2 of Ordinance No. 2719-03 (EMC 15.16.110.A.17), is hereby amended to read as <br /> follows: <br /> 17. Variances in accordanceconjunction with EMC 19.30.080, EMC 91.41.130. <br /> EMC 19.34.070(A)(2). or EMC 20.08.180any decisions for Review Process II or <br /> Section 2. Chapter 4 of Ordinance No. 2530-01 (EMC Chapter 15.16) is hereby <br /> amended by the addition of a new section, to be codified as EMC 15.16.205: <br /> Variances to the requirements of the Zoning Code (EMC Title 19). <br /> 87 <br /> 1 <br />
