February 22, 2017 <br /> She reported on a meeting with Community Streets Initiative coordinator. <br /> Council Member Franklin also announced that the Beyond the Streets — <br /> Addiction community event will be held March 23, at the Historic Everett <br /> Theatre, from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. <br /> President Tuohy provided a liaison report on her attendance at the Senior <br /> Center Advisory Board meeting yesterday. She also reported on her <br /> attendance at the Valley View neighborhood meeting. President Tuohy <br /> reminded the public that the next Public Safety Subcommittee meeting is <br /> scheduled for March 8. She also announced that Everett Public Library is <br /> seeking input from the public regarding the Evergreen branch redesign. <br /> ADMINISTRATION UPDATE ON PRIOR BUSINESS <br /> Debra Bryant, Administration, had no report. <br /> CITY ATTORNEY <br /> City Attorney Iles had no comments. <br /> CITIZEN COMMENTS <br /> Bruce Young, Everett, was called to speak but declined. <br /> Jackie Minchew, Everett, spoke about a climate change and the group <br /> 350 Everett. He suggested to the Council to create a committee which will <br /> work on a climate change. <br /> Mark Ford, Seattle, spoke in opposition to the proposed For-Hire <br /> ordinance. <br /> CONSENT ITEMS: <br /> Moved by Council Member Murphy, seconded by Council Member <br /> Franklin, to approve the following consent items: <br /> 68 <br />
