l
• The StormFilter must treat at least the 6-month, ,'_4-hour storm.
. The StormFilter shall be designed using a maximum Flow rate of 7.5 gpm pr cartridge.
Flows exceeding the design Flow shall be bypassed arond the system, but should
generally pass through the pretreatment wetvault/tank.
. The StormFiiter media shall target dissolved pollutants and nutrients as well as total
suspended solids. As more effective media become available in the future, the
StormFilte°r shall be upgraded, during routine cartridge replacement, to utilize these
improved zdia.
. The StormFilter shail be designed with a minimum of 2.3 feet of head differential
between the inverts of the inlel and outiet of the filter. Downstream hydraulic
calculations will be performed to demonstrate that downstream conditions will not reduce
the hydraulic potential across the filter due to backwater effects.
. Routine maintenance of the StormFilter is required. A detailed operation and
maintenance plan for tiie system must be prepared for approval by the City. A cerlificate
of system maintenance must be submitted to the City annually.
. Maintenance and operetion of the StormFilter on this site shall be adapted, in the future,
to reFlect the current knowiedge regarding this emerging technology.
. All other applicable, and non-conflicting, criteria in the current edition of SMI's Product
Design Manual shall be followed in the design, construction, and maintenance of the SMI
StormFilter on this site.
15. Portions of the existing mall complex discharge to the existing easterly and westerly
detention ponds on the site. In these ponds, the stormwater receives a limited amount of
stormwater treatment in addition to detention. Stormwater runoff from existing areas of the
mall complex which wiil not be "redeveloped" as a part of this project must continue to
receive at least an equivalent amount of stormwater treatment as currently occurs.
16. Parking must be per City Zoning Code and City Design and Construction Standards for
Development.
17. This project must comply with the current State Building Code (IBC) and the City of Everett
Sprinkler Ordinance. City of Everett construction permits are required.
18. Special charges for connection to the sewer and water systems in accordance with Ordinance
1998-94 and subsequent revision are applicable. These charges are based on orojected
water usage and can be substantial. Applicant is encouraged to obtain a copy of the
Ordinance and determine estimated charges prior to buiidirg permit application. The actual
charges shall be computed by the Public Works Department per the ordinance in effect at the
time and according to the information on the approved plans at the time of building permit
issuance.
19. Lack of comment on the plans submitted with the application does not constitute approval of
these plans.
20. City streets and alleys are to be kept clear of dirt and debris at all times during corstruction.
Dust suppression and street cieaning must qccur as directed by the Public Works Inspector.
\
