DETEF-MINATION OF NON -SIGNIFICANCE <br />SEPA #42-86 <br />This Determination of Non -Significance shall expire one year from <br />the date it becomes final un:.ess a completed building permit <br />application has been submitted within that time. A request for a <br />one-year extension of this Determination of Non -Significance may be <br />made to the Planning Director prior to the expiration date. <br />DESCRIPTION OF PROPOSAL: The proposed <br />Public Works permits to allow a 52,071 <br />Everett Mall. <br />action is the issuance of Building and <br />square foot expansion to the existing <br />PROPONENT: Douglas Mulvanny/Architects <br />12200 Northrup Way <br />Bellevue, WA 98005 <br />LOCATION OF PROPOSAL_ South of Everett Mall Way, West of I-5 <br />Lead Agency! City of Everett Planning Dept. <br />Contact Person: Mary Cure, gham Phone: 259-8731 <br />Mitigation Measures: <br />The environmental impacts of this proposal are documented in the En':ironmental <br />Checklist and other information on file with the City. The listed <br />requirements are placed in response to our review of this information: <br />MITIGATION OF ADVERSE IMPACTS BY SEPA <br />1. A landscape strip a minimum of 10 feet wide must be provided along the <br />entire Everett Mall Way frontage, except for driveways. This must be <br />planted with sufficient evergreens a minimum of 3 feet in height at <br />time of planting to create screening of the parking lot. A landscaping <br />ntan must be reviewed and approved by the Planning Department Erior to <br />the issuance of any permits. The landscaping must oe insudiicu NL��l <br />to the issuance of any occupancy permits and must be maintained in a <br />healthy manner. (SEPA Light and Glare and Aesthetics Policy) <br />MITIGATION REQUIRED BY EXISTING CODES AND ORDINANCES <br />1. Special charges for connection to the sewer system in accordance with <br />Ordinance 984-83 are appli6able. The actual cost shall be computed by <br />the Building Department per the ordinance in effect at the time and <br />according to the information provided on the approved plans on the date <br />of permit issuance.
