� <br /> I <br /> ! <br /> I 1 "Temporary Traffic Control Devices;" lump sum. <br /> 2 The lump sum contract price shall be full pay for all costs for providing the work <br /> � 3 described in Section 1-10.3(5). Progress payment for the lump sum item "Temporary <br /> 4 Traffic Control Devices"will be made as follows: <br /> 5 <br /> � 6 a. When the initial temporary traffic control devices are set up, 50 percent of <br /> 7 the amount bid for the item will be paid. <br /> 8 b. Payment for the remaining 50 percent of the amount bid for the item will <br /> � 9 be paid on a prorated basis in accordance with the total job progress as <br /> 10 determined by progress payments. <br /> 11 <br /> 12 "Traffic Control Vehicie," per day. <br /> f13 The unit contract price per day shall be full pay for all costs invoived in fumishing <br /> + 14 the vehicie or vehicles for the work described in Sections 1-10.2(1)B and 1-10.3(2). <br /> 15 The operator(s) of the vehicle(s) will be paid for under the item "Tra�c Control <br /> I 16 Labor"or"Tra�c Control Supervisor." <br /> 17 <br /> 18 When the bid proposal does not include an item for any necessary traffic control, all <br /> 1 19 costs for traffic control shall be included, by the Contractor, in the unit contract price for <br /> 20 the various other items of work in the bid proposal. The Contractor �hall estimate these <br /> 21 costs based on the Contractor's contemplated work procedures. <br /> ( 22 <br /> 23 When traffic control items are included in the bid proposal, payment is limited to the <br /> 24 followin� work areas: <br /> � 25 <br /> 26 1. The entire construction area under contract and for a distance to include the <br /> 27 initial warning signs tor the beginning of the project and the end of construction <br /> 28 sign. Any warning signs for side roads on the approved tra�c control plan are <br /> I 29 also included. I(the project consists of two or more sections, the limits will apply <br /> 30 to each section individually. <br /> 31 2. A detour provided in the plans or approved by the Engineer for by-passing all or <br /> ( 32 any portion oF the construction, irrespective of whether or not the termini of the <br /> � 33 detour are within the limits of the contract. <br /> 34 3.
