� I ! I 1 "Temporary Traffic Control Devices;" lump sum. 2 The lump sum contract price shall be full pay for all costs for providing the work � 3 described in Section 1-10.3(5). Progress payment for the lump sum item "Temporary 4 Traffic Control Devices"will be made as follows: 5 � 6 a. When the initial temporary traffic control devices are set up, 50 percent of 7 the amount bid for the item will be paid. 8 b. Payment for the remaining 50 percent of the amount bid for the item will � 9 be paid on a prorated basis in accordance with the total job progress as 10 determined by progress payments. 11 12 "Traffic Control Vehicie," per day. f13 The unit contract price per day shall be full pay for all costs invoived in fumishing + 14 the vehicie or vehicles for the work described in Sections 1-10.2(1)B and 1-10.3(2). 15 The operator(s) of the vehicle(s) will be paid for under the item "Tra�c Control I 16 Labor"or"Tra�c Control Supervisor." 17 18 When the bid proposal does not include an item for any necessary traffic control, all 1 19 costs for traffic control shall be included, by the Contractor, in the unit contract price for 20 the various other items of work in the bid proposal. The Contractor �hall estimate these 21 costs based on the Contractor's contemplated work procedures. ( 22 23 When traffic control items are included in the bid proposal, payment is limited to the 24 followin� work areas: � 25 26 1. The entire construction area under contract and for a distance to include the 27 initial warning signs tor the beginning of the project and the end of construction 28 sign. Any warning signs for side roads on the approved tra�c control plan are I 29 also included. I(the project consists of two or more sections, the limits will apply 30 to each section individually. 31 2. A detour provided in the plans or approved by the Engineer for by-passing all or ( 32 any portion oF the construction, irrespective of whether or not the termini of the � 33 detour are within the limits of the contract. 34 3.
