New doors and �Nindows should be dimensioned in a door or window schedule with the <br />schedule symbol referenced on the plans. Schedules shouid indicate hardware sets for the new <br />/ doors, and type of glazing for the windows. Hardware schedule, door schedule, and door types <br />added to Proposed Plans sheet A2. <br />a. The minimum size for the accessible entrance door should be shown on the schedule as <br />2'-10" wide, 6'-8" high, per IBC section 1008.1.1. See door schedule <br />b. All new doors should be identified on the door schedule with a specifc door hardware <br />set that does no: require tight grasping, pinching or twisting of the wrist to operate, per <br />IBC section 100R.1.9.1. All doors are on door schedule, nole regarding 1008.1.9.1 <br />added <br />c. Door hardware height should be shown on schemat�c door elevations, per I(iC section <br />1008.1.9.2. Ventilation can be handled either by natura� ventilation or mechanical ventilation, per IBC <br />,; 1203.1. It doesn't appear that all the windows are operable. Office and entry areas require an <br />airflow of 5dm per person and reception areas require 60 cfim per person, Fzr IMC table 4033. <br />At leasl one window is operable m each room, plans have been updated to show lhc existing <br />windows accuratety to address Utis item on Prcposed Flooi Plan 1,'A2 and Proposed Elevations <br />1lA3 <br />3.
