35. Fire Safetv - Fire safety practices durir,g construction shall be in compliar;ce with Article 87 of the <br />Uniform Fire Cede. <br />36. For fire safety in multi-family projects with community laundry facilities, the following is req�iired: <br />a. A self-closing, solid ccre door shall be installed for the laundry room. Any restraining device <br />shall be activa[ed by an approved smoke detecror. <br />b. A covered meta] container shall be provided for the disposal of combustible waste in the <br />laundry room. <br />37. Demolition ofbuildings shall be in compliance with the provis�ons ofUniform Fire Code, Section <br />8706'Firesafety du�ng Demolition.' <br />38. The City of Everett prohibits outdoor buming. Therefore, outdoor buming for the pu�pose of <br />disposing of co�struction debris or rubbish will not be permitted. <br />1 <br />39. The Washington State Clean Air Act requires the use of all known, available, and reasonable means <br />of controlling air pollution, inciuding dust. Dust generated during construction activities can be <br />controlled by wetting those dust sources such as areas of exposed soils, washing truck wheels before <br />they leave the site, and installin� and maintaining gravel �:onstruction entrances. Cor.sttuction vehicle <br />track-out is also a major dust source. My evidence of tra;h-oat can trigger violations and fines from <br />the Department of Ecology or the Puget Sound Air Polluti��n Control Agency. <br />GENER.�L INFORMATION <br />Puget Sound Energy is the natural gas provider in this area. To initiate new service orders, please <br />contact Marilyn Davis Wesdund at (425)356-7512 at least 90 days priur to the required in-service <br />date. Any relocation of existing gas facilities for this development will be at the developer's sole <br />expense, and requires 90 days minimum notice. Please contact Elaine Babby at (206)224-2018 to <br />coordinate relocation requests. <br />2. The Snohomish County PUD currently has sufficient capacity to serve the proposed development. <br />However, the existing District facilities in the local azea r�iay require upgrading. Cost of any work, <br />new or upgrade, to existing faciltie� that is required to connect this proposed development to the <br />District electric system shall be in accsordance with the applicable District policies. For further <br />information about the electrical ser: ice requirements for this project, please call the District's <br />Customer Engineering Office, Everett at (425) 258-8272. <br />
