Fire Alarm S stem - An approved automatic fire detection system shall be provided as required by <br />City Ordinance No. 1902-92, C��apter 16.76, of the Everett Municipal Code. <br />Plans for such system shall be submitted to the Fire rQarshal for review and approval prior to <br />instaliation. Submittal shall include cut sheets of all equipment intended for use. Appropriate trip <br />tests, witnessed by a Fire Departmertt inspector, shall be performed, along with a certificate of <br />completion, prior to final acceptance of the system. <br />Fire alarm systems shall be installed according to NFPA Standard 72. <br />Fire alarm systems shall be installed under permit of the City of Everett Building DepaRment. <br />Electrical inspections and approval are required prior to cailing for acceptance tests. Commercial Cookine Ooerations - A ventilating houd and duct system with an approved automatic <br />fie-extinguishing system shall be provided in accordance with the Mechanical Code for commercial- <br />type food heat-processing equipment that produces grease-laden vapors. Fire Sunoression (Sorinkler) Svstem - An approved automatic suppression system shall be provided <br />as required by City Urdinance No. 190'L-92, Chapter 16.76, of the Everett Municipal Cod:. <br />Plans for any such system shall be submitted to the Building Department an,i the Everett Fire <br />Department for examination and approval. Such plans shall include plans for the underground mains <br />that will supply the sprinkler system. <br />Aboveground sprinkler piping shall be hydrostatically tested as established in NFPA Standud 13. <br />Underground piping shall be hydrostatically tested and flushed as established in NFPA Standard 24 <br />for private fire mains.
