ON PAGE 26 OF THE SPECIFICATIONS, SPECIAL PROVISIONS DELETE <br />THE AMENDMENT TO 1-07.6 AND REPLACE WITH THE FOLLONING: <br />1-�'7.6 Permits and Licenses <br />A City of Everett business license is required prior to commencing construction on this <br />contract. <br />The Contractor shall obtain all necessary permits required by the city of Everett. All <br />gencral building, electrical, piumbing permits will be issued at no cost to the Contractor. <br />In addition, the Contractor shall obtain all required permits for waste disposal sites. <br />The City of Everett will provide the following permits for the Project, SEPA. DISCHl.RGE HEADS AND DRIVE UNIT SUPPORT <br />The discharge elbow shall be cast iron and of the above-ground type. The <br />foundation plate shall permit withdrawal of one comple[e pump unit <br />without removing the bowl or inlet bell and without affecting the operation <br />of the second pump. The drive unit suppoR shall be cast iron and shall be <br />designed to accommodate the equipment specified. <br />End of Item <br />ADDITION OT IiANDRAIL TO THE CONTRACT <br />Handrail is added to the North Chlorine Contact Channel Modifications. The Handrail <br />style shall be provided as detaileri on drawings S1 and S7 except as noted below. The <br />handrail shall be added to the perimeter of the Chlorine Contact Channel south of ihe <br />pump station. The approximate linear footage of handrail added by this change is 105 <br />feet. The handrail shall be mounted centered on the 2 foot wide perimeter slab at the top <br />of dike. The mounting details shall allow for mounting to the top of a concrete surface <br />rather than to the side as detailed on drawing S7. <br />End of Item <br />ADD THE FOLLOWING PARAGRAPH TO SECTION 2-12.2, IN WETLAND <br />RESTORATION: <br />Excess materials excavated from the casing pipe:, bore pit and any other eacavation shall <br />be disposed of by the contractor. The contractor shall not waste or dispose of excess <br />material in the Wetland or on the project site.
